Gold Crest & Ship Earrings
Fleur De lys - plume of ostrich feathers & ribbons from the British 2pence, French Laurel leaves & wheat, British symbols from the six pence & South African ships.
I first made these earrings for an exhibition with my dear friends at Patch NYC, who have a wonderful store in Boston USA.
Materials: Coins of brass, copper & mixed alloys, 24ct recycled gold plated.
Fittings: Stud Ear - sterling silver, 24ct recycled gold plated.
Dimensions: Length 7cm. Width 2cm.
The jewellery comes presented in a box I hand draw, recording the history of the coins used to make the piece.
