Gold Victoria Chandelier Earrings
Victorian one penny pieces from the 1800s with a little ruff added from a silver three pence, these hang from a 5 pence crown & thistle.
I always enjoy the ‘tails’ side of the coin too. When I cut the silhouette of the head, a snippet of the tails image shows as a pattern on it. With this design I have the Victoria’s looking at each other. You get the best of both sides, with the date showing on one too.
Materials: Coin of silver, copper & mixed alloys, 24ct recycled gold plated.
Fittings: Stud Ear - sterling silver, 24ct recycled gold plated.
Dimensions: Length 5cm. Width 3cm.
The jewellery comes presented in a box I hand draw, recording the history of the coins used to make the piece.
